As cliche as this sounds, our story is YOUR story. Or more specifically the story of anyone who becomes a member at CFSD. Crossfit has always been about the Community. This is why even though there are now MANY Crossfit gyms for you to choose from in San Diego. Each has it’s own unique product to offer, because what each is really offering is their community.

We are extremely confident in our “product” because our community is built on QUALITY people!

Now for a more traditional sense of who we are and where we came from:

CFSD is one of the original 35 Crossfit gyms in existence. The Lugo family affiliated in late 2005 and handed the reigns over to the Chatman family in early 2012. Many owners of other fantastic gyms in the So Cal area got their start as trainers at CFSD.
