THE FORMULA FOR SUCCESS… I’m going to give away the formula for you to succeed at the very fitness goals you’ve struggled with. The formula is elegant, simple, and yet quite obviously not understood by many given the lack of results suffered repeatedly by all of us.
1) Expert Trainer(s) – I don’t care what level of fitness you’re in, from a contestant on one of the numerous weight loss shows on TV. To the US Navy SEAL, or the Olympian. Everyone who gets results has a COACH…Note that in all of these instances the Coach is a person who is present physically, not over a DVD or through an e-mail system. At Crossfit San Diego we HAVE expert trainers, we have experts in fields like; Gymnastics, Powerlifting, Weightlifting, Nutrition, Kettlebells, Programming, Mobility and Flexibility.
2) Intelligent Programming and Diet – It’s not as easy as running three times a week, drinking a glass of water before a meal, and taking a multi-vitamin before bed. If it was that easy EVERYONE would already be in shape. Let me break it to you, it takes YEARS to learn to program intelligently, it takes YEARS to understand diet and nutrition. They don’t give away Nutrition PhD’s so stop listening to nutrition advice from your Aunt. At CFSD we have decades of experience within the staff (and members!) in programming and diet.
3) Accountability – Saved the biggest “secret” for last. You MUST have someone to hold you accountable. In the good old days a workout partner was all you needed. With today’s busy lifestyles how often do you even get to see your friends, let alone find time to workout together. The best part about CFSD is the Community.
